Marah Owecke, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Pronouns: she/her/hers

My practice is based in LaCrosse, WI.
I offer services in person as well as online for people in Wisconsin and Oregon.

My approach is grounded in kindness, empathy, humor, relationship-building, and mutual care and respect.

I work with adults who are looking to create long-lasting change. The services I provide are not meant to be a band-aid. Through therapy, we will reprocess, rewire, and do work that has lifelong impacts.

My experience in the field has been in a variety of roles working with children, teens, groups, individuals, families, and couples. I have worked with individuals in hospice care, families in refugee resettlement, post-graduate college students, and provided psychotherapy for folks in Oregon and Wisconsin.

I have training in somatic and attachment focused EMDR therapy and a certification in Movement Fundamentals, a movement and dance approach that empowers people to love and feel gratitude for their bodies. Movement Fundamentals, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR are woven together to dive deep and get to the root of the problem.
